Salary: £28,000 per annum pro rata
Contract Type: Fixed term until 1 April 2026
Hours: Minimum 12 hours per week, with potential for an additional day by agreement each month

The Role
We’re looking for a Projects Support Officer to join our team and help deliver impactful local initiatives across Eats and South Birmingham. This role will support community development, regeneration, and employability work through a varied and meaningful set of projects.
You’ll work closely with the Druids Heath Regeneration Steering Group, providing administrative and coordination support — including arranging meetings, taking notes, and organising a best-practice study visit to housing regeneration projects in London.
In Northfield, you’ll provide employability and CV support to clients, helping residents improve their confidence and readiness for work.
You’ll also support evaluation for Loconomy projects, including Be Investment Ready and I Can 2, contributing to effective governance and administration, such as undertaking risk assessments, ensuring health&safety requirements of our projects are met.
This role would suit someone organised, community-minded, and confident working independently across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination (Druids Heath)
Support the facilitation and development of the Druids Heath Regeneration Steering Group.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling, preparing agendas, circulating papers, taking and distributing meeting notes.
Coordinate a study visit to best practice housing regeneration projects in London, including logistics and liaison with partner organisations.
Maintain clear communication channels between partners and stakeholders.
2. Project Delivery (Northfield)
Provide employability and CV support to clients, including basic skills development and signposting to training and job opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of client engagement and outcomes.
3. Project Evaluation (Loconomy)
Undertake evaluation in support of Loconomy projects, including gathering and analysing data to inform project development and evaluation.
Contribute to project reporting and learning.
4. Governance and Administration
Ensure efficient and confidential record-keeping.
Undertake risk assessments relating to projects
Ensure that health & safety provisions in line with Loconomy’s policies are effectively applied in projects
5. General Responsibilities
Uphold the values and objectives of the organisation.
Work flexibly across teams and locations as required.
Carry out other duties commensurate with the role.
Person Specification
Essential Skills and Experience
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
Experience in supporting meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online meeting tools.
Experience working with community groups, residents, or in regeneration/employability settings.
Experience in providing advice and support
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience coordinating visits, events, or study tours.
Experience in undertaking risk assessments and health&safety checks.
Experience providing one-to-one employability, CV, or advice support.
Knowledge of community regeneration or housing projects.
Experience conducting research and contributing to evaluations.
Familiarity with cooperative or social enterprise models.
